Collection: Between Land and Sea
“Between Land and Sea” explores those quiet transitional spaces of the coastal landscape, where water, land, and sky lose their distinct boundaries.
In minimalist, semi-abstract compositions, familiar coastal forms are transformed into expansive planes of color, gentle transitions, and subtle reflections. Vibrant warm hues meet cool blues and turquoises. Horizons blur, landscape elements dissolve, and new, almost surreal pictorial spaces open up.
A few figurative details—small islands of vegetation, scattered grasses, or birds on the horizon—provide orientation without restricting the openness of the composition.
The focus is not on the faithful reproduction of a specific place, but on the emotional impact of the coastal landscape: its vastness, its stillness, and the fleeting interplay of light, color, and space.
The series is an artistic exploration of the unique atmosphere between land and sea—reduced to its essentials and open to the viewer’s imagination.
