Toward the Light—Wall Art, Fine Art Print, Canvas, Acrylic Print

A lone figure follows the curved path between water and land. The image speaks of new beginnings, orientation, and quiet trust in a still unknown path.

This work belongs to the series "Lines of Silence", a series of monochrome, minimally condensed landscapes. The starting point is the flowing forms of the Wadden Sea: tidal creeks, sandbanks, waterways, and individual maritime signs. Through artistic reduction, however, they increasingly detach from a specific location and become images about expansiveness, orientation, and inner movement.

Curved lines lead through open spaces, disappear at the horizon, or encounter isolated human traces. Boats, posts, and figures appear as silent reference points in a landscape between water and land, closeness and distance, departure and contemplation.

The works are conceived as a coherent sequence of images. Individually, they retain their serene presence; in diptychs or triptychs, their lines and forms enter into a visual dialogue with each other.

Concept and artistic design are mine. The visualization was done using generative AI as an integral part of my creative process.
