Passage into the Sunset—Wall Art, Fine Art Print, Canvas, Acrylic Print

In this work from the series "Sunsets at Sea," the coastal landscape condenses into a reduced, almost timeless visual world. An oversized sun hovers over a calm sea, while a single human figure appears beside an imposing, monolithic form. Both elements enter into a silent dialogue with the vastness of the space.

The composition moves between landscape, abstraction, and symbol. The sun loses its purely natural meaning and becomes a sign for transition, memory, and transience. The vertical body acts like a threshold, a gate, or a landmark between the present and the unknown.

The small human figure enhances the relationship between individual experience and the grandeur of the surrounding world. The highly reduced formal language, clear geometry, and harmonious tension of warm red and orange tones with cool blue nuances give the work a contemplative calm. The image invites one to pause and view the sunset not as a natural event but as a symbolic moment of transition.

The concept and artistic design are mine. The visualization was done using generative AI as an integral part of my creative process.
