The image shows a group of windsurfers in a largely dissolved, bright seascape. Individual sails remain clearly recognizable, while other forms already merge into light and motion. The vividly colored windsurfer in the foreground, in particular, forms a visual focal point. Turquoise, red, and yellow set clear accents within the otherwise highly reduced composition.

The vertical blurring allows the contours to soften slightly and conveys movement without sacrificing the overall calm effect of the image. The generous light area and the barely perceptible horizon create spaciousness and lightness. Thus, the result is less the depiction of a concrete sporting moment than an atmospheric impression of wind, speed, and open space.
